With this clinic each rider will go over all 5 classes ( Trail, Halter, western Riding, reined working cow, cut/sort, & Pen) that will be in the show on the 10th.
Some of the things you will learn how to read a cow & to the more advanced cattle work. How to handle your & show your horse on a trail course that includes water crossing, bridges, log pulling. NEWS from the NSHA: The NSHA just wanted to remind you that the NSHA sale deadline is July 15th . For sale info or entry forms please check out NSHA website. For those of you looking to purchase a horse we have our sale horses up on our site. Check us out at; www.nationalstockhorse.comFor all of you cow boxers out there wondering which class to enter, this is an NRCHA/VCHA Approved Horse Show, so you will follow the same rules. For rules for either group, please check online at www.nrcha.com or valleycowhorse.com to determine your eligibility. For those of you who are cow boxers but wanting a little more action we are offering a "STEP UP" Fence Class at the show on Saturday morning before the Horse Sale. For a demonstration video please check out our FACEBOOK Page. The New STEP UP class video:Ted Robinson and Todd Crawford narrate the rules and what the judges will be looking for in this class. Please note that there will be no prizes awarded or money earned, this class is for boxers to get more experience in a show situation. This class will not jeopardize anyone's eligibility to fall back or stay into a boxing class. Please note that you will be showing to the judges! Greener Than Grass

- Who is a GREEN as GRASS Rider? . The NSHA Greener than Grass is limited to people who have won less than 200 pts. or $1500 lifetime earnings. The class is designed for beginners who do not want to go down the fence, but would rather box a cow on the end of the arena. The Greener than Grass and the Novice Non-Pro Limited are basically the same class run by two different organizations
- The Valley Cow Horse Novice Non-Pro Limited has the exact same rules.
- If you enter this NSHA class in Tulare you are eligible for earnings and prizes given in Tulare only.
- If you enter the VCHA Novice Non- Pro Limited, you are eligible for the prizes and pts. awarded with this class, as well as, pts. combined with other pts. you may win at future Valley Cow Horse shows to determine year end winners. These winners are eligible for a whole different slate of prizes, that this year consist of, a saddle, buckles, stirrups. coats and vests. The NSHA and VCHA classes can be entered individually or together.
- You only have to make one run and it can count for both associations. Simply, check both classes on your entry form.

Novice Non-pro Limited Class are the boxing GREEN AS GRASS riders that have less than $1500 in earnings and/or less than 200 points. Riders can show in this class multiple years until they "graduate" out through money earnings, points or when they start showing down the fence.
Winners of all Valley Cow Horse Classes will receive "Valley Bucks"
Valley Bucks will be now accepted by many top trainers and vendors. Show them your support...
